Suggested Itinerary
Eight weeks of Japan Travel plans in photos |
| For people who hesitate on how to make the most of the site you
may follow the Suggested Itinerary guide below, which breaks
down the entire collection into a rather extensive, but none the
less interesting eight weeks of traveling Japan ( through pictures
in this case ). Follow through the regions to any depth you like,
probably the best idea if you're up for visiting the site more than
once is to actually break down the list into eight occasions. But
if you have already made up your mind on what you liked and what
you didn't really cared about, you may as well skip some parts.
After all the whole point is to be entertained... |

| Osaka - The heart of Kansai, and
probably the second most important city of Japan, the
lively and modern Osaka is a one-of-a-kind modern merchant
city with an attitude. The most famous historic sight
is the Osaka castle which stands right in the middle
of the city, equally far from the business complexes
and the busy station of Umeda ( north ) and the unbelievably
vibrant entertainment districts of Namba, Ebisubashi
and Dotonbori ( south ). Also an unforgettable sight
is the amazingly well preserved and still functional
retro entertainment district, Shinsekai ( New World
) which hosts one of the icons of the city, the Tsutenkaku
tower, the Tenpozan bay area, and the serpentine walkway
through the three-story high Osaka Aquarium. |

Tokyo Shop and Fashion Guide
Clothing and food stores in Jiyugaoka, Shimokita and
Koenji.
Open air town centers with great atmosphere, a different
view on how Tokyo can be much more cozier if you take
the effort to find the right place for you. Shimokita
is the young oriented small center for fashion, music,
clubs and theater or just hanging around aimlessly,
browsing a much more calm neighborhood than of the downtown's
Koenji with its atmospheric shotengai of small shops,
restaurants and cafes to the north and the PAL avenue
shopping arcade to the south. And Jiyugaoka, the most
popular among people who don't mind higher prices for
the right surroundings, its gourmet cuisine, fashion
or home decoration. |
